All My Heart

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (New International Version) For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

All My Heart

This has to be one of the most quoted verses in the entire bible; and by quoted I mean misquoted. This is how you hear it most of the time:

"For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

For some reason nobody wants to remember the next part:

"Then you will call on me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart."

But not you! You see how important it is and would never miss it! You see that walking with God is an all in journey where you strive with every ounce of your heart, mind, and strength to find the way of Jesus in a world that is out of sync with his Kingdom. Call on God, pray continually, and seek the Lord with all your heart, because he is good and has good plans for your life.
